Ingredients
- 1 (9–10 lb) fully cooked spiral-sliced ham
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 3 teaspoons allspice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the ham cut-side down in a roasting pan.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, apple cider, cinnamon, ginger, cumin, and allspice.
- Pour half of the mixture over the ham and rub it in between the slices.
- Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, pour the remaining glaze over the ham, and brush it into every slice.
- Return to the oven and bake another 45 minutes, or until hot, glossy, and caramelized.
- Add extra time as needed to crisp the edges to a deep golden brown.
