This Orange Push Pop Pudding tastes just like summer in a bowl. Light, creamy, and citrusy, it brings together bright orange flavor and smooth vanilla for a cool, nostalgic dessert that’s perfect for warm days, potlucks, or an easy make-ahead treat.
Ingredients
- 1 (3-ounce) box orange gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- 1 (3.4-ounce) box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 teaspoons freshly grated orange zest
- 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Whipped cream and orange slices, for garnish
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, add the orange gelatin and pour in the boiling water. Whisk well until the gelatin is completely dissolved, then stir in the cold water until fully combined.
Place the bowl in the refrigerator and chill for about 12 minutes, just until the mixture begins to cool but is not fully set.
Remove the bowl from the refrigerator and whisk in the instant vanilla pudding mix until smooth and lump-free.
Return the mixture to the refrigerator for another 15 minutes to thicken slightly. Once chilled, gently fold in the whipped topping and fresh orange zest until evenly incorporated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best texture and flavor.
Serve chilled, topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a fresh orange slice for a bright, summery finish.
