Donut Custard
Sometimes, the best desserts are born from trying not to waste food.
In my kitchen, sweets almost never go stale — they usually disappear long before that! But somehow, a few donuts were forgotten in the fridge, just a bit too firm to enjoy on their own.
Normally, I’d warm them up in the microwave and move on, but this time I wanted to experiment. Inspired by a recipe from Pasen y Disgusten, I transformed those leftover donuts into a rich, creamy custard. And trust me — every spoonful was worth it.
Note: This treat isn’t exactly light, but for donut lovers, it’s absolutely worth the indulgence
