Ingredients (Makes 8–12 Cruffins)

For the Dough
Puff pastry or croissant dough1 sheet
Unsalted butter, melted2 tbsp
Peach Filling
Diced peaches (fresh or canned)1 cup
Brown sugar2 tbsp
Cornstarch1 tbsp
Ground cinnamon½ tsp
Optional: Nutmeg or almond extract¼ tsp
Crumble Topping (Optional)
All-purpose flour¼ cup
Rolled oats2 tbsp
Brown sugar2 tbsp
Cold unsalted butter, cubed2 tbsp
Optional: Chopped pecans or walnuts2 tbsp
Glaze (Optional)
Powdered sugar½ cup
Milk or cream1–2 tbsp
Optional: Almond extract¼ tsp

 How to Make Them

1. Cook the Peach Filling

  • In a saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until thick and jammy.
  • Let cool completely.

2. Prep the Dough

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease or line a muffin tin.
  • Roll dough into a ¼-inch thick rectangle and cut into squares to fit the muffin cups.

3. Assemble the Cruffins

  • Press dough squares into muffin cups to form shells.
  • Fill each with 1–2 tbsp of peach filling.
  • Optional: Sprinkle with crumble topping.

4. Bake

  • Brush tops with melted butter.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden.
  • Cool slightly in pan, then transfer to a wire rack.

5. Glaze & Garnish

  • Optional: Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled cruffins.
  • Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or chopped nuts if desired.
