Loaded Steak Quesadillas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (453 g) beef sirloin
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal steak spice
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (divided)
  • 16 slices of provolone cheese
  • 4 tortillas
  • Vegetable oil
  • Oil spray

Instructions

  1. Season the Beef:
    • Sprinkle the beef with 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt, steak spices, and half the cayenne pepper.
  2. Cook the Steak:
    • Heat a little oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks until cooked to your liking. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables:
    • In the same pan, add a little more oil. Add the onions and bell peppers.
    • Sprinkle with the remaining salt and cayenne pepper.
    • Sauté the vegetables until tender, stirring frequently.
  4. Assemble the Quesadillas:
    • Spray a clean pan with oil and heat over medium heat.
    • Lay out a tortilla and add 4 slices of provolone cheese.
    • Place the cooked steak on one half of the tortilla and the sautéed vegetables on the other half.
    • When the cheese has melted, fold the tortilla in half to enclose the filling.
    • Cut into four pieces. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and fillings.
  5. Serve and Enjoy:
    • Serve the quesadillas hot. Enjoy!

    This doesn’t look like the ingredients listed. It looks like steak with guacamole and pico de halo. There’s no bell peppers

      Thanks for your comment! The recipe does include bell peppers, along with steak, onions, and provolone cheese. Sometimes the photo might not show every ingredient clearly, but rest assured, they’re all in there. Sorry for any confusion!
